Terms of Service

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Plain-English summary: you pay monthly, you can cancel any time, your data is yours, and we don't promise the software is perfect. The full terms are below and they're the ones that count.

1. Who we are

Renoline ("Renoline", "we", "us") is operated by [Legal entity name], [address], Ontario, Canada. These terms are a contract between that entity and the business that signs up for an account ("you", "the company").

2. The service

Renoline is web software for scheduling renovation jobs, coordinating trades and keeping clients informed. It includes public pages that your trades and clients open from links you send them, without an account. We may change features over time; we will not remove a core feature you pay for without at least 30 days' notice.

3. Accounts and office logins

The person who creates the company account is its owner and is responsible for everyone they invite. Each plan includes a number of office logins (people who sign in). Trades and clients who use links are not counted and are always free. You are responsible for keeping passwords safe and for what people you invite do in your account.

4. Free trial, plans and payment

5. Your data

Everything you put into Renoline — jobs, photos, contacts, notes, numbers — belongs to you. We use it only to run the service for you (see the Privacy Policy). You can download all of it at any time from Settings. If you cancel, we keep your data for 90 days so you can come back or export it, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

You are responsible for having the right to store the information you upload, including your clients' and trades' contact details and photos taken in their homes.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Renoline to send spam, break the law, harass anyone, or try to access another company's data. Don't resell the service or copy it. We can suspend accounts that do these things, after warning you where that's reasonable.

7. Text messages and emails

Renoline helps you send texts and emails to trades and clients from your own phone and email, or from our servers when you turn that on. You are the sender of those messages and you're responsible for having consent to contact those people and for complying with Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) and similar rules.

8. Availability and support

We aim for the service to be available all the time but don't guarantee it. We'll tell you about planned maintenance in advance when we can. Support is by email at the address below, on business days, and we try to answer within one business day.

9. What we don't promise

Renoline is provided "as is". We don't promise it's error-free or that it fits your particular way of working. Schedules, costs and profit figures are calculated from what you enter — check them before relying on them for a contract, a payroll or a tax filing. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or a job that ran late.

10. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you break these terms or don't pay. Sections 5, 9 and 11 survive.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada and any dispute goes to the courts of Ontario. If a part of these terms is unenforceable the rest still applies. We may update these terms; we'll email account owners about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
